What is hash or hashish?
As per Asian tradition or rather Indian tradition, it is said that the hemp plant has been sent across to the earth to provide delight and courage to the humans. Hashish
is supposed to be the favorite drink of one of the deities. The intake of hashish is supposed to improve sexual desires and the individual gets absolute delight.
Hash or hashish as it is known has been there since ten thousand years or more. It is used for many purposes. The seeds are used by man in food. Hemp oil is extracted from the hempen fibres. The hashish oil is also used as local folk medicine and may also be used for curing certain illnesses or health conditions. As per history, there is a connection between man and hashish. In fact, there are a number of species of Cannabis that is available. It is difficult to identify the origin of making hash or hashish.
The early man identified the cannabis plant and the ancient archaeological sites clearly reflect the remains of these fibres. It has been identified that hash or hashish has been found in China during the 4000 B.. The hempen fabrics have also been found in Turkish sites and some of the Egyptian tombs have clearly indicated presence of hemp and this was about four thousand years back. As per history, ancient Indians recognized making hash or hashish as the nectar of life. In fact, around 600 B.C. the Zent Avesta proclaims that it is an intoxicating resin. The Assyrians used them as incense somewhere around 9th century B.C.
What are the other effects of hashish?
It has been researched and proven that continuous intake of hashish may lead to hallucinations and may cause negative effects or ill effects on the neurological functioning of the body. It also lends a light feel to the body, thanks to its properties. Hashish has
psychoactive drug effects and it was supposed to be given to guests or visitors at home to lend enjoyment and hilarity.
When we talk of the history of hash, it is said that the Cannabis plant originated somewhere in Central Asia. In anchient China, hash or hashish was given to cure health problems like rhematic pains, female disorders, beri beri, malaria and also constipation. A mixture of wine and hemp resin was mixed together and given to the patient as it was sort of an analgesic and relieved pain during and after the surgery.
Untold history of Hash or Hashish
It has been widely used as a fold medicine to cure fever, prolong life, improve memory power and cure dysentery and nausea. It has proven to improve the digestion powers of an individual and it clears the throat to. As per Indian fold medicine, it is supposed to be very effective in relieving earaches, whooping cough, tuberculosis, headache and insomnia. Africa too has something to be told about hash. It is said to cure anthrax, fever, malaria and dysentery.
