The Different Methods for Making Hash

All of us know about Hashish and the effects of hash on our body. First and foremost, let us first understand what hash is? Hash has rich resinous material of the cannabis plant. There are different methods like the manual separation method, separation by density and separation by size.
The hash is first collected and then dried. Once it is dried, it is then made into cakes, balls or even laid down into sheets. Making hash is an art and a specific process has to be followed. Some of the countries that are into making hash are Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan and also North Africa. There are different colors of hash ranging from black to light brown. The texture too varies from soft to dry and crumbly. Also, these are baked into cakes or cookies.
Methods involved in making hash
There are different methods of making hash. Every hash making process involves getting the THC from the stems and leafs. Some of the methods of making hash are the alcohol method, the blender method and making cannabutter.
Let us now understand how to make hash using the blender method. The hash stems, weak weeds, leaves and seeds are to be mixed in the blender with the water. Put ice cubes and blend it well for five minutes. Ensure that all the above ingredients are chopped finely. The next step is to strain the entire liquid in a coffee filter so that the liquid easily gets accumulated in the lower jar. Once the slurpy mixture settles below in the jar, you may want to add some water to make it a little dilute. The entire process takes about half an hour. You need to add ice cubes or ice water to enable the green stuff to accumulate.
Another method of making hash is the alcohol method. The seeds, stems and weak weed need to be mixed well in a pot and then add isopropyl alcohol that is generally available at pharmacies. It is advised that you use alcohol that is the purest. Isopropyl is also referred to as rubbing alcohol. The entire mixture has to be heated well on the stove. Alcohol is flammable and you need to be careful when heating it. Once you have heated it for about forty five minutes or so, the solids have to be drained out allowing the alcohol to settle. You need to repeat adding fresh alcohol into the stems and weeds and continue the process. At the end of the process, you would have a syrupy mixture.
Making cannabutter is yet another way of making hash. Add butter to a pot of boiling water. Then add the stash or the grass and boil it further. The THC easily dissolves into the butter and you need to keep stirring the entire mixture well. Once they grass has been cooked well, remove the grass ad squeeze the juice. Then you need to refrigerate the liquid. The cannabutter when cooled solidifies and you need to scoopy it and store it well in a bowl.
